Landcom had a very successful weekend with the release of its final land lots in stage one at Bunya, part of the proposed new suburb of Bungarribee. Seventeen of the 23 available where sold, leaving seven left in stage one from the 75 released.
Demand for land in Western Sydney’s newest masterplanned community Bunya has been very strong, particularly from people living in the local area.
Robert Sullivan, General Manager of Corporate Marketing from Landcom comments, “There is nothing else like Bunya in Western Sydney. The size, scale and features of this masterplanned community are unmatched. The adjoining suburb of Doonside was built many years ago and now locals are looking to upscale or downsize depending on their family circumstances and are purchasing in Bunya.”
“Landcom has a ready-made market on the doorstep of Bunya and demand from locals has further reinforced this thinking. The area has a strong multi-cultural base which has integrated very successfully over the past few decades.”
“There are few opportunities to purchase new land and a new home in a carefully designed community in Western Sydney. Purchasers have noticed this and moved swiftly on the first land lots,” he added.
The land in stage one is builder ready with 14 and 17 metre frontages available. Some boast views across to the Blue Mountains and most offer a parkland aspect of the Western Sydney Parklands. Prices start at $310,000, plus a $20,000 HAF discount for eligible purchasers, and range in size from 420 sq m to 547 sq m.
Bunya is located in the epicentre of Western Sydney. Several private and public schools are close by, local shopping centres are a short walk from the community, Blacktown Shopping Centre is within a five minute drive, Doonside railway station is approximately 500 metres from the northern end of the project and the local bus route will loop off the site in 2012.
There are also several major industrial and retail sites situated within a 10 kilometre radius from Bunya offering plenty of employment opportunities.
Through Bunya Landcom is delivering the New South Wales Government’s vision to build communities in key growth corridors which are supported by major infrastructure and employment hubs.
