Oran Park Town partners with the University of Western Sydney

Oran Park Town and the University of Western Sydney (UWS) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to deliver future services to the community.

The purpose of the Memorandum of Understanding is to allow both Oran Park Town and UWS to continue discussions, collaboration and development aimed at exploring opportunities.

Three main areas of potential partnership include:
•    Medical and Health Precinct
•    Information technology and communication infrastructure
•    Positioning of Oran Park Town as an education town.

Sean O’Toole, Managing Director Landcom, said the identified areas of partnership meet the objectives of the Oran Park Town Strategic Social Plan and UWS.

“UWS bring significant academic and research resources, along with the expertise and understand of the integration with the broader community, in particular the Macarthur region,

“For Oran Park Town, these projects have the potential to deliver innovative and world-class services to the new community which are not found in similar greenfield developments in Australia,” said Mr O’Toole.

Tony Perich, Managing Director Greenfield Development Company said planning and delivering for the community and services from the onset is one of the distinguishing features of Oran Park Town.

“As lifelong learning and the integration of education with the town centre is one of the key principles of Oran Park Town, we are very pleased to have UWS involved,”

“The partnership provides the community with the benefits of a modern town and will attract buyers who want to live, learn and grow with family and friends,” said Mr Perich.
